Relaxed, informal and designed to help you develop your skills through drawing from life. This is not an explicitly “taught” class, however if you’re a beginner or just need a little inspiration, then I’ll be able to run through the basics of drawing human anatomy and offer you pointers along the way. For those who are more comfortable with drawing and simply want the opportunity to draw from life then you can fully relax and work through each pose at your own pace. 

Life drawing is a really intuitive process, this class is about enabling you to develop artistic skills as well explore representation of the human form. You don’t need to be “able to draw” or have any experience to join and you’ll be surprised at how quickly your drawing skills will improve. Life drawing is an absolute must for any artist both budding and established and so this class is open to total beginners as well as those more versed in creative practices.

Loosely, the session will contain a mixture of long and short poses from our lovely model, providing you the opportunity to develop gestural and quick sketching as well as more detailed drawing. It’s a relaxing way to spend an evening with good company and other like-minded creatives. 

The sessions will run for approximately 1.5 hours Models will change as frequently as their availability allows.
